Dana Rosenblatt vs. Lloyd Bryan
Dana is one of New England better boxers. I predicted he would lose against Pazienza (his
only loss), but he has popped off some good wins against Glenwood Brown and last Sep, an
excellent win against Terry Norris. The last time I saw Lloyd fight was last Jan when he
was stopped by Robert Allen in the third round. For Dana to remain a contender in the
middleweight division, he needs to look impressive, and expect him to look just that
against an opponent with less skills. An easy KO for Dana.

Oscar De La Hoya vs. Oba Carr
This ought to prove to be an interesting fight. It's no secret that I'm a De La Hoya fan.
I've been following his career since the Olympics, and have seen him grow and improve in
every fight. I've followed Oba since early in his career as well for the past 10 years.
Oba looked fantastic against Frankie Randall this past February, but he's in a different
game now. For instance, both have fought Ike Quartey. Oba lost to him in 96, Oscar beat
him soundly last Feb.
There's no doubt Oscar will win, but how . . and when?
Oba's only loss by stoppage was by Trinidad in 94. If you recall back in Oct 91, when Oba
fought Livingstone Bramble, that made me doubt Oba. He was almost stopped in the second
round by one shot, and near the end, he had Bramble out on his feet and couldn't finish
him.
I expect Oscar to feel him out for a couple rounds, then slowly turn up the heat. Oba will
more than likely survive the onslaught.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Justin Juuko
Just yesterday, this bout was changed. Floyd was supposed to fight Goyo Vargas, but Goyo
had to pull out due to illness. Like it's going to make a difference. I expected him to
have a fairly easy time with Goyo, but Justin will prove to be a more formidable foe.
Justin is the type of opponent that Floyd needs. Justin is a banger from Uganda, who has
impressive power, experience and a good trainer in Eddie Futch. Makes you wonder . . . .
NOT!
Floyd will start fast, and end fast. Floyd has hand speed and power unmatched in his
division. Just ask Angel Manfredy . . . .
